AERIS receives an international study visit from the Alentejo Regional Development Agency in Aerópolis

The delegation visited the facilities of FADA CATEC and the Aerospace Incubator of the Chamber of Commerce of Seville, both located in Aerópolis

On September 19 and 20, the AERIS project was visited by a Portuguese delegation led by ADRAL (Alentejo Regional Development Agency), with the aim of bringing Portuguese companies closer to Andalusians.

On the 19th, more than twenty institutions and companies from the ADRAL delegation, a partner of the AERIS project, attended the presentations of the international partners of the project, Seville Chamber of Commerce, IDEA Agency and Andalusia Aerospace in the institutional headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce of Seville.

After the presentations and a colloquium, they visited the facilities of the Chamber of Commerce of Seville in Torre Sevilla. Later, attendees had the opportunity to meet the ongoing projects and visit the facilities of FADA CATEC, partner of AERIS, and of the Aerospace Incubator of the Chamber of Commerce of Seville, both located in Aerópolis.

The ADRAL delegation continued the visit on September 20 in Cádiz where they visited two aeronautical companies located in the Tecnobahía Technology Park, in El Puerto de Santa María and in Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz.

This conference aims to bring Andalusian and Portuguese companies closer to promote the synergy of aerospace companies of the region in order to improve their competitiveness, the technological transfer of knowledge and boost innovation in the sector.

The AERIS Project Consortium is made up of the following entities: Seville Chamber of Commerce, IDEA Agency, FADA CATEC, University of Seville, ADRAL, Andalusia Aerospace, AEDCP, CEIIA, PACT and the University of Évora.
