The General Secretary of Airbus Spain visits the aerospace innovation spaces of Aerópolis and Cartuja

The General Secretary of Airbus Spain, Jorge Caro, accompanied by the General Secretary of Business, Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the Andalusian Regional Government, Manuel Ortigosa, visited in January the innovation spaces of the aerospace and technology sector promoted by the Regional Ministry of Economy, Knowledge, Companies and University in the Aerospace Technology Park of Andalusia, Aerópolis, and in the STP (Science and Technology Park) Cartuja, in Seville.

During the visit, the director of the Andalusian Foundation for Aerospace Development and the Advanced Center for Aerospace Technologies (FADA-CATEC), Joaquín Rodríguez, presented the strategic projects promoted by FADA to take on the main challenges for the aerospace sector Andalusian in the field of technological development, applied research and knowledge management. Among these, the project for the development of advanced technologies and functionalities of autonomous air mobility.

The General Secretary also took the opportunity of the visit to Seville to learn about the programs for the promotion of technological entrepreneurship and the acceleration spaces of startups driven by the Regional Ministry of Economy in the STP Cartuja.
