Aertec Solutions exports digitization technology to the Airbus plant in Warsaw

The company, based in Aerópolis, will deploy the industrial production system i-Workbench, which consists of digitizing the manufacture of electrical cable harnesses, at this Polish plant

The international aeronautical engineering and consulting firm Aertec Solutions has a collaboration agreement with the European manufacturer Airbus to market an intelligent manufacturing industrial system, called i-Workbench.

It is a technological solution for the manufacture of electrical cable harnesses, the assembly of parts and preforms or the assembly of equipment, all in digital form. A process 100% compatible with industry 4.0 and aimed at improving the work of operators by reducing costs, preparation and contact times, and improving the final quality of the product.

i-Workbench is a system that has been tailored to the operators of the manufacturing process. Reduces eyestrain by having optical projectors with ultraviolet filters that avoid the effects of radiation on the eyes; provides direct access to the workstation information system through interactive and digital production orders; provides real-time and updated information on standards, models, databases and diagrams / drawings; It includes dynamic software with an incident display system and controls production in real time.

i-Workbench is a technological solution for the manufacture of electrical cable harnesses, the assembly of parts and preforms or the assembly of equipment, all in digital form.

Aertec Solutions already collaborated with Airbus DS more than two years ago in the implementation of this new manufacturing technology at the Tablada plant in Seville, and its good results allowed this solution to be exported to the Airbus plant in Hamburg at the end of last year. In this new contract, Aertec will supply the equipment and supervise the integration process of this intelligent manufacturing system at the European manufacturer's facilities in Warsaw.

This new achievement comes in addition to the specialized engineering work carried out by Aertec for the industrialization, control and management of aeronautical manufacturing programs and the implementation of technological solutions for plant control. The Andalusian company is also a preferred supplier (Tier 1) of the Airbus Group in manufacturing engineering services and program management for its civil and military aircraft.

i-Workbench is a production system that is currently operational for the manufacture of aerospace electrical cable harnesses, but could be applied to other industrial sectors involved in digitization processes of Jobs.
