Héroux-Devtek Spain, new Spanish supplier for Boeing

Héroux-Devtek Spain, located in Aerópolis, has signed a supply agreement with Boeing for the manufacture of several actuation components

The company Boeing has awarded Héroux-Devtek Spain a contract to manufacture new actuation components for several commercial aircrafs platforms.

The scope of the contract includes the production and maintenance of hydraulic actuators for the Landing Gear systems for the 787, 777, 777X and B767 aircraft (in freighter and “Tanker” versions) and for spare parts for the legendary B747.

In the words of Martin Brassard, president and CEO of the Héroux-Devtek group: `I am very proud of our team in Spain for the great work carried out to obtain this contract. This is the largest actuator supply agreement made by the Héroux-Devtek group. I have no doubt that our team will maintain the excellent relationship we have with Boeing, by offering the same quality standard in the actuation systems that characterizes us and that we have demonstrated in the landing gear´.

This agreement, in addition to being the largest contract made by Héroux-Devtek Spain (HDS) since the Canadian group acquired Compañía Española de Sistemas Aeronáuticos, S.A.U. (“CESA”) in October 2018, it is very important for the company and makes it a new Spanish supplier, the only one for components and systems, of the American giant.
